About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Operational Support, you will provide specialist expertise and governance to facilitate and manage the simplification, improvement and implementation of  Iron Ore documented Standards and Procedure (Business Standards). You will also manage and maintain relevant systems relating to the use and storage of business information within the Asset.
Key responsibilities will include work across the following areas:
• Manage day-to-day activities relating to the change and governance of Business Standards, including projects, systems and processes..
• Facilitate effective change management and communication for Business Standards that span across our Iron Ore business.
• Provide Business Standard Improvement (BSI) and Controlled Documents Reports and reporting capabilities to business operations and functions.
• Apply continuous improvement and standardisation principles to establish simple, effective and efficient processes to manage Business Standards.
• Review and update of the BSI 5 yearly plan and 2 yearly schedule.
• Provide input and support for the department business plan initiatives.
You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.

About You

You will have inherent analytical skills with the ability to analyse and work with data. You also recognise the importance of team work to achieve a common goal and positively collaborate with and influence those around you to achieve common objectives. You are able to adapt fluidly and positively to changing priorities in an agile environment.
You may also have the following:
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience , ideally in maintaining business information & data centric systems and processes.
• Able to cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation with key stakeholders.
• Ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at varying levels of the business.
• Familiarity with SAP, management of change systems, SharePoint and Spotfire will be beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools.
• Good time management and prioritisation.
• Continuous improvement and project management experience will be highly regarded.
