About the role

We seek a highly motivated individual to join the Change and Creative Services Team as Specialist Creative Services (Spanish Translation) of the Global Asset Services. You will be responsible for the delivery of creative services in Spanish including (but not limited to) the creation of collateral per project or and other initiatives as required. Work as part of a team of broader organisational change specialists and project team members to design and deploy creative materials (e.g. animations, telestrations, communications, training materials etc.) in service of change programs supporting by GAS projects and/or for other teams and/or initiatives as requested.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the pioneer group for our new centre located in BGC.

Core Accountabilities 
  • Demonstrates and instils an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Provides language translation services from English to Spanish to support the creation of collateral.
  • Regularly engages with project team members and impacted stakeholders to check that creative services are relevant and generate the desired result.
  • Utilise strong understanding of BHP Billiton and its culture (i.e. safe to speak up, step-up) to foster leading behaviours within and outside of the organisational change team by way of thoughtful and relevant OCM team activities.
  • Maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure on-going alignment exists with company-wide mandates and frameworks
  • Collaborates effectively within the GAS Project team to ensure integration, alignment and consistency of key messages and OCM approaches (overall) is achieved across the complete GAS Projects Program and other key initiatives as required.

About You

  • Degree or equivalent education required
  • Translator certification preferable
Skills & Experience
  • 5 + years of language translation services
  • Experience working on large-scale projects (preferable)
  • Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written for Spanish and English
