About the role

The newly formed Financial Planning and Analytics team is seeking candidates with all or any of the following competencies (resources industry experience preferable):

Core Accountabilities of the Financial Planning and Analytics Team
  • Supporting Finance in continuously improving it effectiveness through integrated fit-for purpose Data analytics processes.
  • Supporting the function in delivering data driven solutions to improve the businesses operation and financial performance.
  • Apply innovative data wrangling and analysis techniques to identify and collate data
  • Confidently present ideas, results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and best practices in data analytics.
  • Uses analytics models, systems and tools to ensure an optimal approach in delivering business requests that drives process efficiency and standardisation.
  • Works with Finance Business Partners and Data scientists to collect and process inputs to 5YP, 2YB and quarterly forecasts, focusing on driving performance to benchmarks
  • Analyses outputs of 5YP, 2YB and quarterly forecasts for variability and improvement opportunities.
