About the role

Working within the Integrated Operations Improvements team, this opportunity will allow you to add significant value to the business through the identification and execution of the improvement pipeline of the area, and ultimately embedding these initiatives to create sustainable and quantifiable improvements.  

This position is based in Adelaide with occasional site travel.

 In this role you will:
  • Support the development and implementation of rhythms and processes that enable Integrated Operations to spend more time on operational value and cost drivers
  • Provide strategic and innovative input, add critical insights and make recommendations around emerging trends and opportunities impacting business streams
  • Assist Integrated Operations with defining approaches to improvement initiatives
  • Identifying, communicating and embedding outcomes and any significant issues and risks to improvement initiatives
  • Act as an independent challenger across Olympic Dam, encouraging leaders to stretch and capture maximum value in their strategies, plans and initiatives 

About You

  • Experience in a similar Analysis and Improvement role and delivering projects in Mining, engineering, construction, heavy industry or infrastructure
  • Demonstrated data analysis experience
  • Organisational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Communication and influencing skills, including the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at many levels
  • Confidence to identify improvements and challenge with innovative thought
  • Skills with Excel and Spotfire
  • Degree qualified in project management, engineering, management, or finance related disciplines is desired, but not essential
