About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Maintenance Compliance to join the team in the Bowen Basin Central Qld Office. In this role you will accountable for supporting the department leadership team in ensuring compliance to statutory and business requirements.

Working a Monday to Friday roster. Reporting to the Superintendent Analysis and Improvement. This role will provide you with opportunities for growth and career development while working as part of a collaborative team.

As part of a small yet highly influential team, you will be required to apply your ability to engage and influence your key stakeholders and deliver on the outcomes for the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing feedback to managers on governance and compliance gaps identified through coaching;
  • Ability to interpret complex information and data and communicate effectively to all stakeholders;
  • Reporting to professional standard;
  • Ability to present and communicate across spectrum of stakeholders e.g. senior leadership, business partners and frontline;
  • Engage and support contract partners;
  • Collaborate with other functions and sub-functions to drive improvement; and
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About You

Your relevant experience working within compliance to obligations of facility maintenance and regulated bodies. Experience with the Compliance Management System and the management of our mine sites management system SAP as well as an understanding of the work management processes.

Your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across departments and to communicate with disciplines at all levels.
