About the role

We are currently looking for a high performer to take on a Specialist Maintenance role in our Maintenance Pathways and Re-design team. This is a 24 month fixed term role. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance. The role is based in Brisbane or Perth with significant site travel.

In this role you will:
  • Provide technical expertise in maintenance re-design projects within operations services, the wider business, consultants and OEMs
  • Engage across many functions including but not limited to Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence, Maintenance teams on site and Standardised Work teams
  • Assist with development of documentation associated with maintenance re-design and pathways
  • Assist with the management of documentation and associated management of change at a Minerals Australia Level.
  • Be a motivated, engaged and supportive team member; 
  • Be involved in risk management associated with maintenance activities on Mobile equipment, Fixed Plant, and Repairs and Rotables
  • Conduct audits on the implementation of changes

About You

  • Have a good technical understanding of mobile equipment, fixed plant, and maintenance repairs and rotables.
  • Have a good understanding of maintenance work and maintenance processes, and the associated risks and opportunities
  • Previous experience in the mining industry will be valued, as will experience in providing technical support to maintenance teams.
  • You are forward thinking, always seeking opportunities for improvement and have the ability to share and implement these
  • Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable. Additional relevant tertiary qualifications also desirable.
