About the role

  • Demonstrates and instils an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the BHP Billiton Charter and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Review master data requests related to creation, change and deletion of master data for Work Management
  • Creates and submits Master Data load sheets for approved strategies and master data recommendations in accordance with the Master Data Governance Design? Standards.
  • Validates Master Data changes in accordance to the Master Data Design specification to ensure its integrity and relevance.
  • Submits the master data as per the master data processes
  • Monitor and maintains the status of the system used for processing Master Data business requirements
  • Escalate issues to the Master Data Manager or Lead where required
  • Communicates with other master data teams on clarification or validation required for interdependent Master Data requests
  • Communicates with A & I Specialists and requestors on clarification of Master Data Requests
  • Recommend, review and implement improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems
  • Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing for project improvements and Incidents when required
  • Processes ad hoc requests/queries and assists  with the resolution of complex requests and escalations
  • Escalates identified system improvements to the Lead Master Data for assessment
