About the role

The IPRO Supply Chain Capability Analysis and Modelling team functions to perform “what if” scenario through various data analysis and simulation modelling exercises.

As a specialist, your primary focus will be to execute data analysis and simulation modelling activities. Your day to day remit will include activities such as; performing data analysis, executing simulation modelling activities, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, documenting supply chain operations and simulation modelling logic and coordinating the governance process of the simulation model through validation and verification process.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess the following:
  • A degree in the operational research, computer science, engineering, mathematics or statistics fields
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytics capabilities
  • Higher qualifications in analytics, as well as the ability to deliver key business insights informed by data analysis and systems modelling, will be highly beneficial
  • Experience with systems including AnyLogic, Arena, Extendsim, Simul8, SLX or FlexSim would be highly regarded.
  • Specific experience in utilising object oriented programming to execute simulation modelling activities will expedite your orientation to this role and the broader objectives of the team.
