About the role

As part of the Operation Services team and reporting to the Operation Services Superintendent, the Planning Specialist will utilise well-developed planning skills to guide and support a highly capable offshore maintenance and operations team, with the goal of minimising operational risk and maximising reliability and efficiency.
Working in a proactive business culture with a supportive management structure, and leveraging off your extensive experience, you will have the chance to promote planning excellence through the team. You will make full use of your broad range of skills in the areas of continuous improvement, technical knowledge (including SAP transactions), and strong personal and interpersonal skills with effective and verbal communication.
In this position, you will deliver the following across the Pyrenees Venture facility: 
• Coach and influence work management standards and principles
• Planning and coordination of safe and efficient maintenance scope of works for high risk activities
• Standardisation of processes and execution practices across multiple onshore and offshore facilities 
• Optimised maintenance work management processes across a range of offshore assets i.e. High pressure valves, Piping and Marine
• Development of trusted relationships with our site maintenance teams, contracting partners and other key stakeholders
• Establish a strong continuous improvement culture across the team

You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’ on a Monday to Friday roster with a monthly rostered day off. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.

About You

You will have the know-how to engage and build key relationships with various stakeholder groups, collaborate with and influence leaders whilst motivating a team of maintenance professionals who are passionate about what they do. Your ability to continually improve processes, methodologies and systems whist engaging with your team and others will see you succeed in this challenging role.
We are seeking a highly driven individual who holds an extensive planning skillset, with demonstrated knowledge of the petroleum industry, specifically FPSO facilities. You will need to be a high performing and action-oriented professional, who is motivated by exceeding expectations and able to use your relationship building and influencing skills in order to deliver positive business outcomes.
