About the role

The Warehouse Operations Process Control team functions to leads standardisation and optimisation of warehouse tools, equipment, processes and practices for our Warehouse Operations.This high-performing team plays a pivotal role in increasing productivity and bolstering the sustainability of BHP Warehousing across Minerals Australia. Key focus will be on the deployment of standardised Warehouse processes, tools, equipment and systems optimising performance, capability and process adherence to support and develop our Warehouse operations. As a Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ownership of standardisation and optimisation for warehouse systems, tools, equipment, processes, and procedures to transform inbound supply chain
  • Leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose business problems and create practical, sustainable solutions
  • Engaging with customers and stakeholders to better understand business problems, facilitating effective implementation and end to end delivery of performance solutions
  • Leading or supporting change management activities for improvement initiatives across the supply chain    
  • Support the infield deployment of sustainable standards and tools to align a minimum common standard across our regional operations

About You

The ideal candidate will be a high performing individual with significant experience in continuous improvement, complex problem solving through analysis and change management within Supply Chain operations. Exemplary engagement, oral and written communication skills would be seen as highly favourable. This is a FIFO based role, so willingness to travel is essential.
