About the role

This role supports the procurement teams to operate in a well governed, yet efficient manner. Well governed means:
  1. We comply to internal and external processes & regulations
  2. We have fit for purpose, effective and efficient internal processes and controls to bring the risks within our risk appetite. The golden threat between objectives, risks and controls is clear to all.
  3. Our roles and responsibilities in relation to controls and regulations (internal and external) are clear, well understood, and efficiently and effectively executed
We understand the value of the risks associated with our portfolio. We manage and commercialize these risks within the company’s risk appetite
Support the procurement wide commercialization of the risks inherent to our portfolio, within our risk appetite
  • Measure and report Key Risk Indicators. Manage/oversee data extraction and quality
  • In collaboration with Principal Governance & Risk, responsible for the regional implementation of the new risk management framework and processes. Provide subject matter expertise on the framework to procurement teams
  • Dissemination of key commercial deal controls. Work with Deal Review Board to gather, share and implement best practice across the teams
  Licence to Operate & Best Practice
  • Support the teams to ensure Procurement risk management & control processes (as described in FLR, Our requirements, approvals frameworks, ARIS etc.) are fit for purpose, understood, effectively and efficiently applied, and continuously improving
  • Support implementation of efficient and effective post implementation field leadership/validation approach (e.g. are controls implemented, risks appropriately managed etc.)
  • Drive improvements to the Positive Assurance Program results and execution; ensure best practice sharing and feedback to the regions
  • Roll out standards for document and content management
  Support enhancement of procurement systems and tools (e.g. GCMS, ProCon, Ariba, spend cube, sourcing and contracting cube etc).
  • Including application/improvement of technology and tools to enable improved efficiency and effectiveness of control execution
  • Gather and provide input to prioritization process of system changes
  Lead or support ad hoc projects and supports the development and implementation of corporate-wide, Commercial or Procurement specific governance initiatives

About You

  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics or relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of risk management principles and their application
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration
  • Change management experience
