The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. About the role

The South Flank Mining Production Team requires a dynamic individual to join and play a key role in execution and governance, reporting to Principal Mining Project and implementing BHP processes and plans such as, Operations Management plan, Operating Discipline Standard and contractor management. This role will work closely with our Functional business partners as well as site stakeholders at South Flank and Mining Area C.
This Project Delivery Specialist role in the Mining Production Team is to support and the execution of a step change project in and around the mining facility requirements

About You

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Specialist Project Coordinator for Mining Production Team. As a Specialist Project Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting operations team to execute plans and to identify and provide input into continuous improvement opportunities at our newest site, South Flank.  Are you someone with a background in execution of project development plans to schedule? Are you ‘hands on’ with a trade qualification? Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills? If so, we invite you to maximize your problem solving skills for business critical issues and liaise with key functional business partners to achieve plans and results.

If you are someone that naturally adapts to continuous changing work environments and can effectively navigate through ambiguity, changing milestones and working with multiple parties including contract partners to deliver a positive result, we would like to hear from you.
