About the role

The Onsite Planner is a dedicated resource with the relevant skills and knowledge to manage the Maintenance work plan requirements within the Week +1 Week +2 horizon to enable Operations Execution teams to perform required Maintenance activities to deliver Production targets. This role has a back to back on an 8/6 roster. The Onsite planner facilitates Schedule lock-in with Operations execution teams. 
As the Specialist Site Planner you will:
  • Accept accountability for Week +2 work schedule from MCoE Schedulers.
  • Accountable for facilitating lock-in of Week +1 plan.
  • Manages and adjusts work plan requirements within the Week +1 to Week +2 planning horizon, limiting modifications to essential changes driven by urgency.
  • Confirms Resources and Material availability for Week +1.
  • Participates in all Work Management meetings on site and with the MCoE.
  • Updates schedule to reflect interruptions and / or rescheduled work stemming from changes to:
    • Production / supply chain
    • Equipment availability 
    • Work requirements
  • Develop and Print Work Packs from Final Week +1 Plans.
  • Provides feedback to MCoE on draft schedules in a structured way to enable continuous improvement. 
  • Develop and maintain scheduling and planning rules – resource capability / cost equipment availability.
  • Identifying and addressing errors and inconsistencies in SAP master data.

About You

Knowledge and understanding of planning & scheduling and work management processes will ensure your success in this role, with experience using SAP highly regarded. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will see you engage and influence a range of stakeholders to ensure the integration of Maintenance and Production activities to deliver a single integrated plan. 
In addition to this, you will be passionate about continuous improvement, providing routine feedback to the MCoE and aligning improvement initiatives to broader strategic objectives of the business. 

You will be based at our 'Yandi' mine on a fly-in fly-out [insert roster] roster.  Yandi is located approximately 170kms North of Newman West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, golf driving range, mini golf, netted cricket pitch, beach volleyball court and recreation room. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, internet, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
