About the role

We are seeking a Site Systems Specialist to join our team at IROC. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Training Coordinator, this is an exciting and challenging role where you will be accountable for the management, improvement and governance of the training and associated information systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support to the systems that govern IROC work practices and risk control.   Being a focal point, you will liaise with all IROC teams (such as Fixed Plant, Mine Control, Logistics) to facilitate and deliver measureable outcomes as part of a continuous improvement process, to bridge any identified gaps, facilitate change and embed new systems and technological tools.   In the this role you will oversee a number of key systems and processes across the IROC floor including, training management and legislation governance.  

About You

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be a collaborative and innovative individual who executes continuous improvements and conversations;
  • Have knowledge and experience managing systems in line with QLD and NSW coal mining legislation;
  • Understand regulatory bodies, governance and risk management through risk assessments/execution and lead the risk management process;
  • Develop, encourage and support the IROC teams to execute activities and deliver business visibility across all systems and training.
