About the role

Our Technology Function consists of Technology Partners who work closely with our Assets and Operations to drive improvement in safety, volume and cost through the application of world-class technology.

The Specialist Solution Engineer in the Design & Engineering team is responsible for:
  • Providing Application design and engineering services to projects, globally.
  • Ensuring all Application solutions are aligned with Technology architecture and standards and follow design & engineering best practices. 
  • Supporting Application and Portfolio life-cycle management activities. 
  • Partnering with Technology & business stakeholders that result in mutually beneficial outcomes.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Math/Science Discipline, or Information Technology/Business, - OR related discipline or equivalent IT/OT experience.
  • Industry domain certifications in architecture, software development, data and integration are highly regarded.

Skills / Experience
  • 3-5 years relevant post-qualification experience in application design & engineering activities, methodologies and practices with increasing levels of complexity and responsibilities. 
  • Experience in selection and deployment of systems in applications/technology. 
  • Good degree of experience relating to applications.
  • Experience in similar capacity for a large enterprise with exposure to mining operations, or related industries (Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Energy and Utilities) and systems is desirable

  • An intermediate level of English is required. 

Availability to travel to Operation Sites is required (2 times per month, in average)
