About the role

  • This is a part-time, permanent role based in Singapore.
  • This role is primarily responsible for providing legal support to our Technology and Procurement teams in respect of global activities.
  • The role reports to the Head of Legal – Technology & Procurement.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide legal support to Procurement and Technology in respect of global activities, including by working with those stakeholders to draft and negotiate fit-for-purpose contracts and by developing and delivering relevant and up-to-date training and guidance materials.
  • Identify legal risks and opportunities and advise internal clients accordingly.
  • Identify, design and implement continuous improvement opportunities in respect of the above accountabilities.

About You

  • Admitted to practice law in Australia, UK or Singapore.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in top-tier law firm or international in-house team.
  • Knowledge and experience of contract and IP law, advising on complex, high-value and multi-jurisdictional procurement activities with a particular focus on technology procurement; developing and delivering relevant and up-to-date training and guidance materials; and proactively identifying legal risks and opportunities and advising internal clients accordingly.Requires expert experience in influencing and negotiation.
  • Can operate very independently with the individual required to use significant judgement to manage legal risk.
