About the role

We are seeking motivated, highly organised individuals to develop and maintain maintenance plans for our Coal Handling Preparation Plant. Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, this role provides clearly structured plans and deliverables for execution teams to follow.

This role will carry out planning activities including arranging resource and material requirements, and working with maintenance schedulers and execution teams to ensure optimised work plans are implemented during maintenance activities.

This position is based in Brisbane, working Monday to Friday with flexible working arrangements on offer. 

About You

As a Work Management Planner, you will have strong process discipline and adherence to systems and frameworks, along with thorough job analysis and planning detail. You will need to apply technical knowledge and understanding of the equipment and maintenance practices to develop fully resourced work plans. You will be excel in stakeholder engagement, communication, organisation and team work.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will present innovative ideas, strive on challenges and be willing to go the extra mile. You will be enthusiastic about service delivery and passionate about delivering extraordinary results with the ability to develop and grow across multiple areas of the planning team.

The following skills will also contribute to your success in the role:
  • Analytical, with the ability to utilise multiple data sources to deliver outcomes 
  • Adaptable and able to work in a continuously changing environment 
  • Process driven with an enthusiasm for identifying improvements and efficiencies
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling processes; and/ or logistics coordination will be advantageous 
  • Experienced using SAP would be advantageous for this role, although not essential
  • Exposure to Master Data and Continuous Improvement
Although beneficial, you do not need to have worked in Maintenance Planning previously.
