Superintendent HSE Business Partnership at Goonyella, reporting to the Manager HSE Central Mines, this unique opportunity will utilise your skills and experience leading a team of health, safety and environment professionals to support site operations. Providing coaching, specialised technical advice, and visible and proactive HSE leadership you will; 
  • Lead a team of HSE professionals plus a large team of security and emergency management contractors.
  • Assist operational leaders embed processes - coaching and monitoring of task based risk assessments, incident investigations, visible field leadership and maintain high level of environmental performance.
  • Support Goonyella operations and leadership teams enabling effective delivery of legal/GLD compliance and risk management in line with the HSE design.

About You

The successful applicant will be an experienced, tertiary qualified, HSE professional with experience of supporting operational leaders in developing a positive safety culture and embedding key HSE programs. You will possess;
  • Coaching and HSE leadership skills to support operations in improving HSE outcomes.
  • A business partnership delivery approach, process discipline and leadership capability.
  • The ability to engage at all levels of the business, external stakeholders and regulators.
  • Experience enabling and leading change through influence using your deep technical knowledge.
