About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Reliability and Engineering, you will provide direct leadership to Line Engineers to develop and sustain Standardised Work (SW) practises in all Operations Services deployments across Australia.  The role will have a strong focus on collaboration and facilitation with site production managers to ensure the successful deployment and sustainability of Standardised Work (SW) practises the enable delivery of production improvements to meet business goals. 

This role will support the establishment and management of a centralised database for standardise work knowledge and improvement initiatives to enhance site production performance. You will coach and mentor Line Engineers to develop new ways of thinking, build their problem solving capability to identify tasks and processes that can be standardised, replicated and sustained across work areas within Operations Services.

Your previous success in leading a large team and building a positive workplace culture will be paramount in setting you up for success.

About You

You will possess strong engagement, influencing and collaboration skills in order to achieve the high-level outcomes with your team.  You will also:  
  • Create a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching your team; 
  • Be a motivated, engaged and supportive people leader; 
  • Provide input into planning processes with a focus on continuous improvement; 
  • Have ownership of improvement projects; 
  • Utilise your strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work across various stakeholders;
  • You will possess maintenance and/or production experience, within a leadership role; 
  • Tertiary qualifications are desirable, however not essential.
