About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Coal Production team at BMA’s Goonyella Riverside Mine Site, overseeing a large plant processing. Producing 18 million tonne of saleable product a year, and the bottleneck moving to the CHPP, an opportunity at this BMA Mine Site represents an opportunity to grow your career.

As the Supervisor Coal Processing you will be responsible for leading the execution of production plans. You will oversee compliance to the weekly work management metrics, work instructions and defined processes to achieve optimal operational and maintenance outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include building and maintaining positive working relationships with Maintenance and Production Execution teams to ensure work is carried out on time and within budget. Your desire and ability to drive plant operating hours through effective leadership of highly capable and motivated team members will ensure your success in this role.

This is a residential role working a life style 5 / 4 day and night roster, this opportunity is well suited to someone who has extensive experience in a people leadership role and has solid processing knowledge.

Reporting to the Superintendent Coal Processing , you will also:

  • Coach, review and develop team members to ensure their skills are optimised to their full potential;
