About the role

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Newman. 

This role is residentially based in Newman on an even time lifestyle shift roster which is a combination of 5 days and 4 days on and off. With this role we will offer you and your family relocation from your home state. You will be provided with subsidised rental accommodation including power and water subsidies whilst residing in Newman.

The 7,000 strong population of Newman enjoys well-established town facilities including a newly revitalised town centre and sporting facilities.  As a gateway to the Karijini national park, you will be in close proximity to spectacular gorges, water courses and stunningly unique landscapes.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following: 
  • Current 'A' Grade Electrical License is mandatory; 
  • Minimum of C class manual drivers license is mandatory;
  • Electrical Supervisory experience is desirable;
  • Excellent understanding of AS3000, AS3008;
  • Prior experience as an In House Electrical Nominee is desirable;
  • Any prior experience with Overhead Travelling Crane or Fire Safety Equipment maintenance is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence 
  • The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships 
  • Experience with 1SAP or the ability to learn and operate work management software tools 
  • Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
