Our Operations
One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam, is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver. About the role

We are currently seeking to augment our team with a highly competent Electrical Reticulation Supervisor. Reporting to Mine Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising the safe execution of all electrical and communications reticulation tasks underground, including all statutory obligations as part of our license to operate. All tasks to meet their objectives on time and on budget.   The primary responsibilities of the role will focus on the supervision and co-ordination of internal and external resources required for the successful completion of underground electrical reticulation activities (ie) cable installation runs, DB installs/moves, fibre cable installs, tele-remote site setups, jumbo/fan/pump starter box installs. Working with BHP teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day co-ordination of all electrical and statutory compliance requirements. The ability to liaise with key stakeholders as well as internal departments in both a professional and effective manner will be a key facilitator in your ability to safely deliver work. This opportunity is being offered on a 7 on / 7 off day night roster.

About You

• Holds an A Grade Electrical Licence
• Experience gained as a Step up or Electrical Supervisor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience working underground in electrical reticulation environment highly regarded
• Strong work management and planning work ethic, driving a pro-active and planned maintenance work methodology
• Prior SAP experience would be highly desirable
• A current C class license
• High Voltage Operator – Highly Regarded
• Able and committed to becoming an in-house electrical nominee
