About the role

We are looking for Maintenance Supervisors to lead a team of apprentices within a training environment.  You will coach and mentor them to a high level of safety, performance and personal behaviours.  You will liaise closely with the trainers to ensure the apprentices are achieving their curriculum requirements.  

Based in Perth, the role will work on a 4 x morning shift, 4 x afternoon shift and 4 days off roster, with attractive remuneration.

About You

You will have a desire to shape culture, lead a team and impart your knowledge to the next generation. Your ability to communicate is of the upmost importance as well as your relationships skills. It is essential that you demonstrate impeccable safety behaviours and being safety focused is part of your everyday. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, you will also:Foster positive & productive working relationships and team culture; 
Ensure HSEC standards, hazard identification and management is applied;
Continue to identify opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes and systems; 
Coach, mentor and review and develop apprentices to ensure their skills are optimised to their full potential; 
A trade qualification will be essential, preferably heavy diesel, auto electrical or mechanical fitting. Working with supportive leaders, this is an exciting opportunity to help build a supportive and progressive culture.
