About the role

An exciting opportunity presents to be part of the Supply Chain Scheduling team as part of the broader IPRO department. As the Supply Chain Scheduler, you will report to the Superintendent Supply Chain Scheduling and coordinate activities across the supply chain to maximise volume through the system.  

Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Analysing different scenarios and flagging opportunities for additional throughput;
  • Coordinating and optimising maintenance opportunities with stakeholders;
  • Facilitating and coordinating with stakeholders the recovery from unplanned events, for e.g., port cyclone ramp up/ramp up; and
  • Developing stakeholder relationships with the ability to articulate supply chain strategies and operating modes.

About You

You will have experience working in a similar role and having worked in Processing, Rail, Track & Signals or Port would be beneficial, along with an understanding of the theory of constraints framework.  Your organising and planning skills will be some of your key strengths, and you are able to remain calm during high-pressure environments.  By nature you are at ease in working with a range of stakeholders as you draw on your communication, influencing and negotiating abilities to achieve results.
