About the role

Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance Electrical this role will involve being an active team member, providing support to the requirements of the work team, by adhering to operating requirements and striving for the achievement of individual, team and site objectives as directedPlease note this position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 7/7 Day/Night roster, with residential, FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO options available.About the role:·       Carry out unplanned and routine maintenance, inspections and checks to equipment and sensors·       Assist in resolution of electrical issues affecting equipment performance and availability·       Review and update maintenance schedule plans and equipment history·       Provide electrical trade skills to perform care maintenance tasks within the electrical mine area, to ensure overall reliability and stability. ·       Develop and revise operating and maintenance procedures·       Take ownership and drive an uplift in instrumentation for both the surface and underground mining activities.·       Lead the mine electrical team in instrumentation maintenance, calibration and installation best practices.

  • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way
  • Electrical Trade certificate
  • Instrumentation Trade certificate (Cert III)
  • SA A-class workers license
  • Able to work autonomously, and confident to make own decisions
  • Adaptable and reactive to change and new information
