About the role

Working within the mining production team, we have an opportunity as a Technical Specialist within the production team. In this role you will have the opportunity to add real value to front line operations, reporting into the Production Superintendent and supporting the supervisor using your technical expertise you will coordinate work activity for greater efficiency that supports the delivery of standardised work and operating process. As a subject matter expert you will be relied upon for your deep technical expertise in safety, systems, processes and critical skill competencies. This position is ideal for an experienced Production Operator looking to advance in their career.

Operations Services aims to set our culture by having a high level of leadership engagement, that’s why we are dedicating the role of Technical Specialist for each crew playing an important role in our front line leadership teams.

About You

To be successful, you will possess the following: 
  • Acquired knowledge from experience in mining operations; 
  • Technical expertise in mining equipment, mining systems (FMS), operating and critical skills across production; 
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP/Fiori in a work management capacity; 
  • A flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills; and 
  • A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement with the ability to identify opportunities in these areas. 

Operations Services provides transportation to site from nominated points specific to each team, this position will be FIFO from Perth.
