About the role

Working in and around the camps, carrying out gardening and assisting tradespeople.
  • Family friendly roster 7 days on 7 days off, day shift only;
  • General gardening and grounds maintenance in the township of Leinster and camps;
  • Operating Skid Steer, Whipper Snipper and ride on mower;
  • Reticulation repairs and installations;
  • Perform daily inspections of the aerodromes;
  • Assist working at heights tasks.

Location

Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and even an 18 hole golf course.

About You


  • Previous camp maintenance experience;
  • Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence;
  • Exposure to Test and Tag procedures;
  • Working at heights;
  • Forklift Ticket;
  • EWP;
  • Skid Steer Ticket;
  • Experience operating ride on mower, whipper snippers & mini digger;
  • Have an overriding commitment to Health & Safety;
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills.
