About the role

As the Training Administrator reporting to the Training Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the governance of our training framework in compliance with the mine site training scheme, industry standards, and the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations. You will identify and assist to implement opportunities to achieve efficient training processes, and deliver high levels of competency and safe and efficient operations at the mine. The Training Administrator will build effective working relationships with stakeholders and assist in the planning to reach training targets, and help maintain the scheduled training calendar with minimal unplanned disruptions.
In this role you will:
  • Schedule & Coordinate training schedules;
  • Providing technical application support;
  • Development and implementation of training related processes to support the team
  • Maintenance and review of applicable training hardware;
  • Completing scheduled training audits to ensure compliance;
  • Active participation in field leadership activities;
  • Monthly compliance reporting and ad-hoc reporting;
  • Support with BMC’s RIIRIS201 validation process; and
  • General training queries

About You

  • You will have extensive relevant experience as an administrator with demonstrated success in Outlook, Excel and Word will ensure success in this role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge and relevant experience in training in a coal mining environment;
  • Due to the nature of the role it would be an advantage to hold formal Qualification in workplace training and assessment for example TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent;
  • Understanding of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017 is beneficial
