About the role

In this newly created role as a Training Coordinator, you will work within the dynamic and supportive NPI team to provide information relating to the design, development and provision of training frameworks and systems.   

You will be responsible for: 
  • Assisting NPI departments to conduct training needs analyses, in conjunction with technical expertise and line managers;
  • Remaining abreast of developments in respect of both technical and non-technical training so that queries can be directed correctly;
  • Managing the delivery schedule for non-technical training;
  • Advising line managers on recommended training and developing options for their direct reports and their professional development;
  • Ensuring that system technical support within Training Delivery’s remit is provided to customers;
  • Providing technical knowledge to operating departments on the development and maintenance of up to date training role profiles for staff;
  • Assisting in organising training courses and materials, coordinating training facilities, maintaining training schedules, producing training materials and providing team administrative support;
  • Acting as first point of contact for trainees on administrative matters;
  • Reporting on KPI data and providing Learning Management System (LMS) administrative support;
  • Reporting on training metrics including: course appraisal/feedback for employees, weekly cancellation and follow up report, as well as reporting on compliance to training plan to Managers and Superintendents; and
  • Establishing and developing a strong working relationship with training vendors and stakeholders.

About You

Ideally you will have experience working in a similar role or have prior experience working as an Executive Assistant, and possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database management. You will have strong attention to detail and first class organisation skills that enable you to proactively establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines.    

You consider yourself a self-starter who works well in a team and is at ease in building relationships with a range of stakeholders.  Additionally a Certificate IV in Training & Assessing would be well regarded however it is not essential.
