About BMA

Asset System within BMA provides support for the operations with aligned systems used across all sites. This includes operating procedures, training packages and other systems. In these roles you will have the ability to influence and drive direction in respect to training.

We have 2 opportunities for a training specialists to join the Asset Systems team in Brisbane. The purpose of these role is to support sites by ensuring that the training packages used are compliant with the relevant training standards.



  • Review changes to RII training packages and update the Tracks training scheme as required.
  • Provide leadership and advice on training requirements
  • Set up scheduled reviews of individual training documents with site personnel.
  • Work with the site systems teams at each site
  • Facilitate review workshops
  • Provide technical support and knowledge

About You

The successful candidate will have or be:

  • A strong track record as a trainer or governance training experience, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and self-direct
  • Ability to work with and influence site leadership and corporate functions
  • Experience in facilitating workshops
  • An understanding of the Queensland Mining Act and Regulations would be a nice to have
