About the role

A skilled project management analyst to manage Transformation Office routines, team schedules, logistics and project reporting to deliver set objectives with speed, quality and value. In addition, this person will support ad hoc requests generated by the Transformation Office team.This professional will be responsible for tasks associated with delivering general project management of the Transformation and specific ad hoc requests of the Transformation Office. This person will combine traditional project management routines with new ways of working (Agile) to delivery Transformation with speed, increased certainty of success and optimal value.

Core Accountabilities
  • Demonstrates and instils an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Assist project team in managing and controlling changes to scope, schedule, cost and quality standards expected from the project teams.
  • Assists the project team in the administrative, financial and scheduling control (i.e. capacity and capability resource plans) of projects governed and executed by the projects team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Support tasks required to update the portfolio / plan / dashboard / other tools.
  • Support routines including follow up and delivery of actions identified through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other project routines
  • Follows up on issues and risks action items, ensure appropriate mitigations and risk owners complete the tasks. 
  • Provides administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, meeting minutes, workshop, celebrations etc.
  • Manages all project calendars, travel arrangement and team events e.g. team building, team lunch etc.
  • Support the project administration including team member on boarding including project distribution lists and SharePoint access based on data security requirements.
  • Assists in raising purchase requisitions, follow up on quotation and purchase order cycle for projects.
  • Liaises with various project team periodic status report.
  • Assists in development of project collateral or deliverables as required.
  • Provides support to the other transformation office as required.
  • Supports document management e.g. project artefacts for project team within SharePoint.
  • Any other ad hoc assignments delegated by lead program.

About You

  • A degree qualified professional

Experience & Technical Competencies
  • Minimum three years’ experience working on large scale transformation enterprise-wide projects with global stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, conscientious and able to work independently with minimum supervision. 
  •  Being flexible and adaptable, and find new ways of solving challenges. 
  •  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across relevant stakeholder groups to provide quick and accurate responses to all queries and relevant support as required.
  • Has basic knowledge on SharePoint creation, maintenance and administration.  

Fluent English, both verbal and written
