About the role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic Projects Contracts & Procurement team as Analyst Procurement Operations, to perform key activities within BHPs Global Contract Management System (GCMS) to support  to the end-to-end commercial activities undertaken by the regional Projects Contracts & Procurement teams in delivering capital and operational projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the BHP Charter, Code of Conduct, Our Requirements (ORs), Group Level Documents (GLDs) and Functional Level Requirements (FLRs)
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC)
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders that are critical in the performance of the role, whilst adhering to the Charter values
  • Undertake GCMS support activities relevant to Project Contracts & Procurement processes with a committed sense of accountability for the associated outcomes
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all data within systems and tools used to capture data and identify issues within the data, such as missing values, outliers, possible errors and lack of sufficient data to progress requirements
  • Administer documented Projects Contracts & Procurement processes relevant to the role, appropriately evidenced to support Business and Functional governance and assurance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve output, standardise or simplify people, process and/ or tools and present such opportunities to team leader


About You


  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good commercial and business acumen
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Previous commercial experience on capital projects in the mining, resources or oil and gas industry would be well regarded
