About the role

We are seeking motivated, highly organised individuals to join our Maintenance Centre of Excellent Team based at BHP’s Brisbane Office. Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, this opportunity provides clearly structured plans and deliverables for execution teams to follow.

This role will carry out planning activities including arranging resource and material requirements, and working with maintenance schedulers and execution teams to ensure optimised work plans are implemented during maintenance activities.

About You

As a Work Management Planner, the successful applicant will require strong process discipline and adherence to systems and frameworks, along with thorough job analysis and planning detail. You will need to apply technical knowledge and understanding of the equipment and maintenance practices to develop fully resourced work plans. You will be strong with stakeholder engagement, communication, organisation and team work.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will present innovative ideas and be willing to go the extra mile. You will be enthusiastic about service delivery and passionate about delivering extraordinary results and have the ability to develop and grow across multiple areas of the planning team. The following qualifications and skillsets are desirable for success in the role:
  • Maintenance planning experience highly desirable;
  • SAP or similar CMMS software use, and 
  • Exposure to Master Data and Continuous Improvement.
