About the Role


This role will be responsible to ensure that the governance of centrally controlled Finance Master Data changes are executed in accordance with agreed quality standards to ensure compliance with Master Data Design and Standards for Group wide BHP companies in regions covering Australia, Asia, the UK, US and Europe.


Core Accountabilities: 

  • Ensure that the governance of centrally controlled Finance Master Data changes are executed in a timely, accurate and effective manner and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
  • Validate Master Data requests to ensure all data and supporting documentation is provided and approved
  • Monitor requests and tasks in notification tool and ensuring the status of each request is up to date
  • Liaise with data requestors where further clarification of their requests are required
  • Raise incidents regarding Master Data investigations
  • Ensure all customers receive responsive services within the approved Service Level Agreement (focusing on quality and timeliness)

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.  
  • Good Experience using SAP application
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft office suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Maintains high standards of attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Ability to plan and organize tasks and work responsibilities to achieve relevant objectives
