About Potash


The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometers east of Saskatoon.  BHP’s CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment in the Jansen project will deliver a potash mine in Saskatchewan designed to maximize sustainability. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.

Jansen's construction will take place over several years with first production planned for mid-2027. Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. Purpose


The Administrator will oversee administrative activities including the development and delivery of work plans, execution of administrative functions/communications, essential data management practices and the fostering of a positive team culture to drive efficiency across the project in support of the Heads of each area.

About the Role


In this role you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of work plans, manage the execution of administrative functions and communications, design/carry out essential data management practices and foster a positive team culture to drive efficiency across administrative processes and operational routines. 
  • Develop and communicate insights that guide data driven action and decision making.
  • Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Source information, plan and conduct analysis to support evidence-based decision making. 
  • Apply and evaluate change management tools, methods, data, purpose, value and strategic direction. 

Work Location


This role will be based in Saskatoon, SK with regular visits to the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK. The work schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday. Hybrid working (flexible, shared workstations and a combination of office and work from home) is standard for BHP. 

About You

 

To be considered, you will need:

  • A certificate or diploma from a business college, or equivalent knowledge through practical experience.
  • Previous experience liaising with senior operational leaders in dynamic work environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
