About the Role
Responsible on the execution of end-to-end boarding process (on, off and cross) for International Assignee employees, in accordance with the Operational plan and standard HR processes and procedures. Ensures that Master Data for all International Assignee, Executive Leadership and Non-Executive Directors are process into the HR system in a timely and accurate manner as well as perform tax clearance activities. Maintains excellent communication across all relevant stakeholders to provide quick and accurate responses to all queries. Delivers training and provides coaching to team members including other team in all relevant HR Operation activities.
Executional:

Manage end-to-end boarding process (on, off and cross) for international assignees for all BHP businesses for International Assignee and Executive Leadership Team

Deliver excellent customer engagement and satisfaction by meeting performance targets, benchmarks and KPIs

Ensure local operating procedures and documentation is maintained at all times

Provide technical support and expertise to stakeholders for International Assignee and Executive Leadership team (ELT) / Non-Executive Director (NED) on their queries

Execute complex reconciliations and provide appropriate levels of troubleshooting and problem solving which requires high analytical thinking to complex queries from internal and external stakeholders

Participate and support annual activities such as Annual Reward update for International Assignees and Year End activities for Mineral Americas, Mineral Australia and APAC regions. These activities includes bonus and salary changes, split bonus for International Assignees home and host records and tax clearance activities for assignees that leaving the host countries.

Execute table update twice a year on exchange rate changes

Manage Tax Clearance processes for Singapore and Malaysia with our vendors and tax authorities upon our assignees leaves these countries respectively which includes payment via Non Order Invoice (NOI) and release of remaining funds to employee

Maintain and validates accuracy of master data in HR system for International Assignees by performing daily audits and checking in accordance with regional statutory and legislation requirements

Perform pre and post pay run data validation processes for data accuracy
Engagement:

Develop and collaborate a supportive relationship with Global Mobility team, Service operational teams to demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities

Work with various key stakeholders to address issue or enquires by effectively troubleshoot, analyse and resolve routine, difficult/complex or non-standard issues with minimal supervision

Maintain good working relationships with peers within the HR community (Global Mobility, Service Partnership, Reward) and liaise with Tax Vendor and third-party vendor as required
Continuous Improvements:

Contribute to maintaining a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement; a Step-Up culture

Delivers training and provides coaching to team members including other team HR and Service Partnership in all relevant HR activities.

Identifies, implements and evaluates the success of continuous improvement activities / initiatives towards improving effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes, as well as participate in project initiatives
Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in processes supporting productive performance outcome which includes internal and external audit requirements

Assist with system testing and internal controls as required, and ensure adherence to implementing improved controls

Participate in change impact assessment for any change request or any required activities for project implementation such as User Acceptance Test, project deliverable routines

Work closely with Technology for Incident rectification and solution
About You
-
Minimum bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance or equivalent

Exposure to working in HR specifically employee end-to-end lifecycle

Knowledge and understanding on executing Payroll Data Maintenance (Familiar with AU and US Tax Legislation will be an advantage)

Able to work independently within fast-paced environment

Collaboration with multiple stakeholders globally
