About the Role

 

The Risk Analyst will ensure that a range of Risk Management system data administration activities are performed in a timely, accurate and effective manner

 

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

  • Support and build relationships with risk personnel in various locations
  • Manage specific aspects of the Risk Management and Internal Audit process in GRC and AMS, drawn from a variety of areas within risk and internal audit data management. 
  • Timely completion of business-as-usual tasks and deliverables, resolution of queries from stakeholders, issue escalation and ad-hoc requests 
  • Provide assistance to team members and stakeholders where required, act as backup and assist with other ad hoc tasks in their absence
  • Continuous drive for process improvement by assisting with the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives within the team and processes
     

About You

 

  • Experience working with a shared services company
  • Experience in GRC SAP module and Assurance Management System is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Prior experience with Case Management Service and ServiceNow is highly desirable
  • Ability to communicate and coach a broad range of potentially senior stakeholders in risk processes, internal audit, systems and reports
  • Experience in handling small size projects related to improvement of risk and internal audit activities and/or task
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge and formal training and qualifications in Enterprise Wide Risk Management (ERM)
  • Ability to source and analyse data and input this into reporting for BHP Assets, Functions, Group and Board Reporting

 

Non-Technical Competencies:

  • Fluent English, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in Spanish, both verbal and written is an advantage
