About the Role

 

We seek highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as Analyst Value Chain in the GBS Commercial Inbound team to provide support activities to the team and execute GBS processes meeting operational needs in a timely and effective manner
 

  • Work collaboratively with Supply and other colleagues to optimise and deliver sustainable sourcing outcomes.
  • Supporting the development of Category Strategies, ensuring local context is met and providing input on current contract performance. A core focus of thisrole will be driving world class contract management performance through:
  • Support with the execution of Supply's accountability for contract performance. This includes ensuring suppliers are performing to the contract requirements
  • Proactive administration and management of contracts within the relevant category, including KPI reporting, spend analytics, , and off-contract spend.
  • Pursuing operational and commercial excellence through continuous improvement   Maintaining contract data in BHP systems
  • Support Category Manager in the management of the commercial terms of the contract e.g. providing data and information for price reviews and periodic review meetings Varying contracts as required including updating or expanding scopes of services and schedules of materials. • Lead or support direct tendering, negotiation & implementation of local sourcing requirements for low risk/value contracts
  • Participate and support activities such that Supply meets the Business Plan and meets Department and Global KPls.
  • Develop and implement commercial techniques for low risk/value contracts (such as e-Sourcing and low cost country sourcing) to leverage value creation opportunities.
  • Assist Lead Category Management in resolving complex issues, review of work allocation and associated regular and adhoc reporting activities to manage team's performance.
  • Assist the Lead Value Chain to continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) documentation for the Team

About You

 

  • Bachelor's degree and / or similar qualification in a commercial, business and/or technical discipline
  • Experience in procurement within ERP system, with SAP preferred
  • Must be willing to work night shift
  • Language: Fluent in Spanish & English, both verbal and written
