About the Role
Based in Perth and reporting to the Technical Manager Western Australia Asset Projects (WAAP), you will be responsible for managing a highly skilled and diverse teams as well as internal delivery partners to deliver operational readiness scope to medium sized projects within WA Asset Projects. Periodic travel including between Perth corporate office and WA sites will be required from time to time.
To be successful in this role, you are able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within projects, functions and assets.
Key Accountabilities are:
- Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental and community reponsibility is maintained through Operational Readiness activities.
- Ensure HSE, Quality and Productivity KPIs are meeting weekly / monthly targets.
- Develop and implement an Operational Readiness Plan aligned with project milestones
- Plan and continuously review/improve plan to deliver highest project outcomes utilising BOS principles.
- Facilitate, execute and maintain the Operational Readiness Operational requirements across WAAP.
- Collaborate closely with Project, Delivery Partners and Operational representatives to ensure the successful integration of projects into their hosting assets.
- Manage change effectively and efficiently to enhance the team’s performance.
- Identify, build relationships and influence stakeholders to drive optimised project outcomes.
- Work closely with project departments and supporting functions to ensure portfolio synergies can be capitalised and lessons learnt leveraged.
- Integration Between Project and Operations
- Ensure alignment between project execution and operational requirements
- Verify that operational requirements (e.g., staffing, systems, maintenance, spare parts) are considered in project deliverables
- Engage & coordinate efforts with wide range of functional, support and corporate stakeholders to deliver successful project outcome.
- Readiness Assessment and Tracking - Identify gaps, risks, and constraints that could prevent smooth transition to operations
About You
Essential experience to be successful in this role is:
- Extensive exposure to Leading teams, including Identify organizational readiness needs, including staffing and role definitions
- Proven track record of commitment to HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment & Community)
- Ability to engage throughout our business and at all required levels – inter departmental and external departments, operations, maintenance and functions.
- Operational Readiness planning, budgeting, implementation and handover within capital project environment
- Maintenance / Reliability Management systems and data management
- SAP Maintenance Module
- Materials Management
- Experience in stakeholder interface management
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Good Problem-Solving Skills
- BOS or Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement mindset
