About the Role


We are seeking Auto Electricians to conduct planned and breakdown maintenance and repairs to predominantly CAT 793F Trucks and CAT 785 Watercarts. This role requires demonstrated experience in maintaining and diagnosing mobile equipment. Based in our Mobile Equipment Maintenance Division in Newman, this position offers an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster, FIFO from Perth.


Responsibilities include:


  • Planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of mobile plant and equipment
  • Carrying out inspections and repairs on equipment as per maintenance strategies
  • Executing work orders as per schedule to a high standard 
  • Scoping and creating 1SAP notifications for preventative work  
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and working to a high degree of safety at all times 


About You


  • Trade Qualified Auto Electrician
  • Previous experience in mining, or a transferrable industry with larger sized earthmoving equipment
  • Cat & Cummins knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Team focused, with a high regard for safety in the workplace 
  • Highly developed diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
