About the Role
Join our Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) Autonomous Haulage Control team in Brisbane as an Autonomous Haulage Controller, where you will play a critical role in safely and efficiently managing the operation of our autonomous haulage fleet through the Komatsu FrontRunner Autonomous Haulage System.
Working within a fast-paced and high-performing environment, you will be responsible for supporting the achievement of production targets by optimising fleet performance, maintaining operational compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the Supervisor AHS Control, you will execute the daily operating plan while maximising fleet utilisation and ensuring adherence to established operating philosophies. You will actively promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, helping to deliver sustainable performance outcomes and cost-effective operational results.
This role works an even-time roster with 12.5-hour shifts. To support operational requirements, you will need to reside within a 45-minute commute of the IOC.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely manage and optimise the operation of the autonomous haulage fleet
- Execute and maintain compliance with daily production and operational plans
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of site safety systems and their connection to health, safety, and risk management
- Monitor fleet performance and take proactive action to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
- Build and maintain positive working relationships through effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Perform effectively in a dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and responding to operational challenges
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within autonomous fleet management systems and operational processes
- Contribute to a high-performing team culture by taking a solutions-focused approach and driving operational excellence
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Candidates who have completed the Komatsu PCC or hold Level 1 Controller competency are encouraged to apply
- Strong computer literacy and confidence working with multiple operational systems and technologies
- Excellent verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to collaborate, coach, influence, and build relationships across diverse teams
- A sound understanding of mining and logistics processes, including key operational interfaces and dependencies
- Knowledge of site safety systems and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Ability to build strong situational awareness across multiple displays
