About the Role
We’re currently seeking safety-conscious, technically skilled Belt Splicer’s to join our WAIO Conveyor Field Services Team. Working with a close-knit, proactive workforce that values diversity and innovation, you will work on an 8/6-7/7 or 2/2 roster FIFO from Perth. You will be required to travel across all our WAIO sites and assets as apart of our Field Service Team.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Completing belt change outs
- Repairs of conveyor belts
- Responding to breakdown events
- Completing belt preps and flaking
- Working in both weekly and shutdown space
- Working across 6 sites
About You
- Qualified Belt Splicer (Certificate III in Polymer Processing) (desired)
- Recent experience in conveyor belt repair and maintenance (essential)
- High Risk Work License, Dogging Ticket, Forklift Ticket, Rigging Ticket (desired)
- A strong Work Ethic and a Team Player
- A willingness to learn and develop to align with BHP policies and procedures
