About the Role :

  • You  will be at the heart of our commercial operations, playing a crucial role in the effective management of contractor relationships that are the bedrock of our mining activities. This vital position encompasses:
    • Onboarding new contract partners, ensuring seamless integration into our operations.
    • Ongoing monitoring and performance evaluation of contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
    • Coordinating with various departments to verify contractor contributions and align with operational goals.
    • Facilitating the offboarding process, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled and documented.
    • Spearhead high impact improvement projects that refine our contractor management processes. Your innovative approach will streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives across the board.

About You

About you :

 

  • Experience in contractor management or a related field, preferably within the mining or similar heavy industries.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate clearly with contract partners and stakeholders across the end to end value chain.
  • Adept at legal compliance and risk management with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Acts respectfully and fairly with all team members, embracing differences and celebrates success within the team.
  • Seeks to understand their own strengths and development areas and identifies a variety of learning approaches to continually build capability.
