About the Role
We currently are seeking applications for highly safety, diagnostic and technically focused experienced people who specialise in Underground Mining Operators and Underground Mining Maintenance
Broadmeadow coal mine is a part of BMA, the 50:50 joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi Development. Broadmeadow is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people, 34 kilometers north of Moranbah. It is a longwall underground coal operation. Coal is processed jointly with coal from the Goonyella Riverside open cut operation.
About you:
- Underground mining experience
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
- A proven commitment to safety
- The ability to foster a teamwork atmosphere within your work group
- Skilled Operator experience
- Demonstrated prior experience working in an underground mine
