About the role 


Saraji Mine is one of BMA (BHP Mitsubishi Alliance) largest Metallurgical Coal Mines located in the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Maintenance Support Officer, the Business Administration Trainee role will provide administrative support to the Maintenance Administration team and in turn support the Maintenance Department and Leadership Team. This role will see you successfully complete a Certificate III in Business, achieving competencies in a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. 

 

This opportunity is being offered at Saraji Mine Site as a 12month Fixed Term Contract under a site-based roster with flexible options offered.

 

Key Responsibilities


•    Provide General Administration Support
•    Management of generic admin email account 
•    Various Data Entry requirements 
•    Document and Records Handling and Management, including archiving
•    Stationery and Uniform Orders
•    Scanning, Photocopying and Printing
•    Mail Distribution
•    Reception duties including customer service
•    Maintenance of Department Registers
•    Organise Travel requirements
•    Event Planning and Organisation
•    Catering Orders
•    Conference Room Bookings
•    Management of Department Noticeboards
•    Minute taking / meeting and agenda preparation
•    Relief work for Maintenance Support Officers
•    Adhoc Project work
