About the Role
Broadmeadow is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people, 34 kilometres north of Moranbah. It is a longwall underground coal operation.
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Administrator to join the team at Broadmeadow. Reporting to the Superintendent Site Systems, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a small team, coordinating and governing the Document Management System, mine record and associated information systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and lead initiatives to bridge any identified gaps, facilitate change and embed new systems to support the continuous improvement of the Mine Record and Document Management System
- Provide technical support, coaching and governance of the Mine Record and Document Management System
- Develop strong working relationships and support site leaders to ensure in-field adherence to new and existing safety systems
- Lead and participate in internal audits
- Document management and record keeping
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Department
About You
- A background in Safety, Risk, Law or a related discipline would be highly regarded
- Experience in ensuring organisational adherence to current legislative and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with Documentum, 1SAP, Excel and Word are highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
