About the Role


We are currently seeking Maintenance Coordinator (MES) reporting directly to the Auxiliary Superintendent.

In this role you will be responsible for the support of safe execution of maintenance activities and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Own action registers for Continuous Improvement and Work Management Metric Meetings;
  • Review notification quality against standard, provide feedback to originator or supervisor and update impact data where required;
  • Escalate issues on non-conformance to work management process;
  • Daily processing of SAP workflow;
  • Create reservations and direct purchase requisitions as and when required;
  • Coordinate and manage urgent freight and must travel as required;
  • Analyze metrics, review transactional data and close gaps;
  • Complete Field Leadership activities as per KPIs;
  • Create Schedule Interrupt orders and arrange UF for materials if required under direction from the Supervisor;
  • Ensure unused Materials and Repairable Spares are updated in Work Orders;
  • Coordinate and manage warehouse transfers;
  • Management of Warranty process in consultation with Execution Supervisors and Reliability Engineers.



With this role you have the choice of either being residentially based in Newman or fly-in fly-out from Perth to Newman on a 8:6 roster. You will be working at Newman Operations mine site, which has at more than five kilometres long and nearly 1.5 kilometres wide is the biggest single-pit open-cut iron ore mine in the world. The 7,000 strong population of Newman enjoys well-established town facilities including a newly revitalised town centre and sporting facilities.  As a gateway to the Karijini national park, you will be in close proximity to spectacular gorges, water courses and stunningly unique landscapes.
