About the Role

 

The position of Coordinator Mobile Fleet Maintenance will form part of a multi-functional and diverse team supporting our Mobile Fleet Maintenance teams to safely and efficiently achieve departmental and Olympic Dam business objectives. Your work will contribute to optimal production, mobile fleet equipment performance and availability, as well as improving reliability and ensuring that we are well placed for future growth within the mine.

 

Please note this position is based at Olympic Dam on a residential, FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO basis, operating on an 8/6 roster pattern arrangement.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Be first and foremost focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, assisting in engaging, developing and coaching the Mobile Fleet Maintenance team
  • Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day
  • Be responsible for the coordination of mobile fleet maintenance activities across shifts and other departments in order to safely add value to business and improve efficiencies
  • Coordinate maintenance activities based on production and maintenance planning schedules
  • Provide technical expertise within the mobile fleet maintenance team
  • Review and oversee planned maintenance activities and assist with scoping and permits to work
  • Identify and initiate maintenance improvement projects and align cross departmental tasks and responsibilities
  • Foster effective and productive working relationships across all internal and external stakeholders
  • Be active in identifying and communicating improvements to procedures, processes or plant and participate in problem solving and troubleshooting of mobile fleet issues as required
  • Be focused on working collaboratively to achieve results for our customers
  • Proactively communicate across multiple levels and disciplines

 

About You

 

  • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way
  • Australian recognised Tertiary and/or Trade qualifications in a relevant technical field, combined with technical experience working in your field (essential)
  • Have solid experience in the field of mobile fleet maintenance execution with a sound understanding of maintenance systems and processes
  • Be able to interpret, make decisions and determine corrective actions based on data within a busy environment
  • Understand maintenance risk management and mitigation processes with regard to safety, mobile fleet reliability and availability
  • Foster a positive and productive working relationship and culture between the team members and with other departments
  • Mobile fleet maintenance experience will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in leadership of high-performance maintenance teams
  • Continue to identify opportunities to improve the performance of safety, people, processes and systems
  • Ability to improve performance and availability through quality maintenance practices
  • Confident in using maintenance work management systems including SAP based programs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
