About The Role


As the Coordinator Training, you will be responsible for performing execution, planning events and delivering projects to NSW Energy Coal. This includes ensuring the ongoing compliance to training management system, documents and Training Needs Analysis. This position will based at the Mr Arthur site in New South Wales. This is a full time permanent position working a 5/2 roster.


In this role you will:


  • Deliver guidance to Training execution teams  to ensure site compliance to training needs and targets.
  • Direct and advise the indirect subordinates in the training team, including mentorship and coaching.
  • Identify training needs (TNA and Non-TNA) and audit for compliance & Coordinate updates to the site training scheme and materials.
  • Deliver improvement projects in the area of training and its associated streams, such as E-learning and E-assessment projects.
  • Troubleshoot training system issues and provide support/ guidance to trainer assessors: TAMS, LMS, Pegasus, E-Assessment.
  • Maintenance of training system ie data entry, troubleshooting, improvements and raising job for GAS team.
  • Manage the compliance and governance of the site Training and Competency Management System (TCMS):
  • Regularly maintain quality control of training materials, improvement initiatives and troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensuring training material is up to date as required from legislation, incident reviews, RII packages changes and business needs.

About You


You will have previously worked in similar training roles, with experience in Learning Management Systems administration and configuration, as well as knowledge of Training Package development, e-learning /e-assessment development and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) development. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is required for this position.


It is important that you have strong problem solving abilities whereby you can identify and recommend improvements.  


Your attention to detail and first class organisation skills, enable you to proactively establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines.   Additionally, you consider yourself a self-starter who works well in a team and is at ease in building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
