We’re currently seeking safety-conscious, technically skilled Diesel Fitters to join our Machine Rebuilds Team in Welshpool, WA. Enjoy a 7 on 7 off day shift only roster (Thursday–Wednesday, 6am–6pm), where you will have the opportunity to drive to work and be home every night!
We’re currently rebuilding a range of machines including 785C, 793D/F trucks, D10T dozers, 16M/18 graders, and 854/992 loaders. The workshop runs at a fast pace with strict deadlines, so strong rebuild and outage experience is essential.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited too:
- Disassemble and assemble CAT machinery, including dump trucks, graders, dozers, and loaders
- Promote a strong safety culture and support ongoing training and technical development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
About You
- Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Proven experience with CAT heavy earthmoving equipment rebuilds
- Proficient in CAT SIS (essential)
- High-risk work licences: Forklift & Dogging (essential), Rigging (desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a continuous improvement mindset
